Highway 401 Crash near Odessa: WEB 2 Charged
Details of the Incident
On Friday, March 10, 2023, at approximately 2:06 pm, a tractor-trailer lost a set on Highway 401 near Odessa. The incident occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway.
Investigation and Charges
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. As a result of the investigation, WEB 2, the driver of the tractor-trailer, was charged with careless driving.
Highway Closure and Reopening
The crash caused significant delays in both directions of Highway 401. All lanes were reopened shortly after 7:35 pm the same evening.
